First Team Ruffneck Impervia In-Ground Basketball hoop In-Ground Basketball hoop built for quality and durability for both residential and recreational basketball. This system is supported by a 4 1/2” O.D. galvanized steel post for both weather resistance and support.
Backboard Design:
This hoop comes with a 42"x60" aluminum backboard, which provides durability and a professional-level playing surface. Two tubular braces are directly opposite each other, hold the backboard and sturdily support it during gameplay.
Post and Mounting:
Ruffnecks' standout featureRuffnecks' signature downlow (or nose-cone) backboard mounting design is one of few systems that allow you to drop the backboard as low as 9''. This design makes for an easy installation, as the backboard attaches securely to the post, putting little stress on the backboard while in use.
Durability and Strength:
The 4 1/2” O.D. galvanised steel post is designed for this system to be buried 48” below the playing surface. Post to backboard is also a mere 48", fixed height, giving you the most consistent setup for performance over time.
Easy Installation:
The nose-cone mounting design makes the installation of the Ruffneck hoop pleasingly simple. This makes for much easier assembly and the backboard attaches securely with help from the post, so it doesn't move around under intense action.
