Robust Steel Construction
The post of the First Team Sport Select In-Ground Basketball Hoop is a one-piece 4"x4" 11-gauge steel. This construction makes it stronger and more stable than sectional posts and there is no worry about joints failing with time.
Acrylic Backboard Professional
This hoop features a reinforced 36"x60" acrylic backboard for quality play. While tempered glass performs well, it may not be as durable as acrylic, which is impact-resistant.
Heavy-Duty Flex Rim
The hoop features a direct-mounted flex rim made for aggressive play. This design solves the problem of damaging the backboard when players dunk, which makes it ideal for competitive games.
Adjustable Extension Arm
While this is deemed a fixed-height hoop, the arms that extend are adjustable to some extent by relocating the U-bolts. It means the rim height can be customized to accommodate different players’ needs.
