The feature-packed First Team Tyrant fixed-height basketball goal offers an extensive selection of backboards crafted from steel, aluminum, fiberglass, or clear acrylic, fitting various gameplay styles and aesthetic preferences. 

The Nosecone Design

First Team has incorporated its easy-to-install nosecone into the Tyrant pole structure design. This makes installing the backboard much easier, minimizing backboard lifting when installing the backboard. The nose-cone backboard mounting design makes the backboard permanently locked to the post through a through-bolt.

Solid Structure for Maximum Safety

The solid structure is supported by heavy-duty 6 5/8” O.D. Schedule 40 galvanized posts. The post is buried 48" below the playing surface, aligning with industry safety standards.

The First Team fixed height basketball goal is directly mounted to minimize backboard stress, enhancing durability and extending the lifespan of the backboard. The post-to-backboard extension distance is 72", providing a spacious play area under the fixed-height basketball hoop. Pole and backboard padding are available for any Tyrant basketball package for a rigid basketball system and added safety.
